Especially for divers Cebu has a lot to offer. Malapascua or Moalboal are well known diving destinations. Also Sumilon Island with its amazing underwater world has recently attracted more and more divers.
In the last month next to the shore of Tan-awan (Oslob) whale sharks have been sighted. Nowadays many dive centers offer trips going there to snorkel and dive with these giant animals.
